The Music Department welcomes all members of the Keene State community – faculty, staff, and students – to participate in its ensembles. Music majors and minors are required to perform in large and small ensembles.  All KSC students, regardless of academic major, are eligible to participate in any performing ensemble. An audition is required for some ensembles.

Registration note: Students may register for ensembles for either 0 or 1 credits. With online registration, you must indicate whether you’re taking an ensemble for credit by marking a ‘1’ in the ‘credits’ box. Otherwise, the system defaults to zero credits.

Performance attire: All members of department ensembles are required to wear appropriate performance attire. Typical attire is ‘concert black,’ but students should connect with their ensemble director early in the semester for specific instructions on what is appropriate for the ensemble.
