The Keene State College Orchestra provides first-class experience and training in orchestral performance for Keene State music students and for community members from the Monadnock region.
The KSC Orchestra’s repertoire ranges from classic composers and works to new music, and its programming is dedicated to expanding representation in orchestral programming. The orchestra also has the privilege of serving as an ensemble to train student conductors enrolled in the Assistant Conductor Practicum. The ensemble typically performs three times per year, once in the fall and twice in the spring, with rehearsal twice a week. Experienced musicians, students, faculty, and community members who are committed to our ensemble’s goal of excellence are welcome.
