String Ensemble

Course number:  MU 171-12

With a focus on traditional masterpieces, string ensemble provides an opportunity for intense and deep musical exploration with a core group of students. Coached by an expert string player, musicians involved in string ensemble will have many opportunities to perform on and off campus, in traditional concerts as well as nontraditional venues.

Students in String Ensemble are expected to rehearse independently as an ensemble in addition to their regular coaching time.
