Student Films

(What) A Time To Be (Alive)

The Fall 2020 Film Exhibition class has organized this festival of student films made during the 2019-2020 Academic Year. The program you will see this evening includes work made at all levels and in all types of classes other than the senior capstone projects. It celebrates the creativity, diversity, and ingenuity of our beginning and mid-level students at Keene State College, even during difficult times. While the program cannot be exhaustive nor highlight all the interesting films coming out of our department, we feel it represents a variety of levels, concerns, and aesthetic approaches that together shape a great program of student films.

Usually the Film Department presents two film festivals every spring, celebrating the work of our students. However, due to the effects of Covid-19, our festival featuring the work on non-capstone films had to be cancelled. Now at last, some of these great films are being shown to a public, thanks to the work of the Film Exhibition class.

Check out all of the fantastic work that our students create on the Keene State College Film Studies  VIMEO page.
