Equipment and Labs

Students are provided with the equipment needed to produce their film projects. The Equipment Cage is a space for reserving and checking in/out Film Studies equipment. This space is managed by the Media Technology and Equipment Specialist, Brandon Doherty, and operated with assistance from student workers. Their goal is to maintain this equipment and coordinate its use by Film Studies Department students, faculty, and staff.

Equipment is a shared resource, and it is the priority of the Equipment Room to support an equal and fair opportunity for the use of this equipment.

Students MUST be enrolled in a Film Studies class to have access to equipment and labs.

Students MUST receive training before being authorized to use equipment, labs, and any other additional Film Studies facilities.

Students MUST do a contract each semester for access.
