Welcome to our circle

We envision a vibrant community where interconnection, empowerment, and restoration are woven into the fabric of our world.

The Truth, Reconciliation & Equity Collaborative, formed many years ago, is a group of students, staff, faculty, and community members at Keene State College dedicated to the work of restoration.

Becoming a Restorative Community ~

This panel discussion was held on April 13, 2023, as part of a larger event on the theme of “Becoming a Restorative Community.” The panel discussion featured Omar Ndizeye, the 2023 Genocide Awareness Lecturer, in conversation with Professor Karen Jennings, Professor Darrell Hucks, Leaf Seligman, and Patrick Heneghan.

“Restorative Justice is respect. Respect for all, even those who are different from us; even those who seem to be our enemies. Respect reminds us of our interconnectedness, but also our differences. Respect insists we balance concerns for all parties. If we pursue justice as respect, we do justice restoratively.”
