The B.S. in Exercise Science, Allied Health Option is specifically intended for students who wish to pursue graduate school in medicine, athletic training, physical therapy, occupational therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and others. The multidisciplinary curriculum includes courses outside of HPMS to help students understand the broader field of health, while fulfilling prerequisites for graduate school with courses from the integrative studies program and elective credits in biology, psychology, chemistry, and physics.

If you’re considering applying to a professional health school, talk with a Human Performance and Movement Science (HPMS) advisor or the department chair to plan an undergraduate program to meet your specific needs.
