These 4-year scholarship offers are based on audition results and faculty nominations. Prospective students who qualify for this scholarship will be notified by the department chair.<\/p>\n<p>The Music Academic Talent Scholarship can be\u00a0combined with other merit- and need-based scholarships offered by the KSC Office of Financial Aid. In addition, students can receive loans as well as federally-funded, on-campus work opportunities. A majority of KSC students receive some form of financial assistance. To learn more about financial assistance, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keene.edu\/admissions\/aid\/\">Financial Aid<\/a> or call 800-572-1909.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Work Study and Student Hourly Opportunities<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Need cash for tuition or living expenses? The Music Department can put you to work! We employ students in a multitude of ways, including (but not limited to) the following examples:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Usher<\/li>\n<li>Backstage crew<\/li>\n<li>Assistant to the recording engineer<\/li>\n<li>Ensemble librarian<\/li>\n<li>Auditions assistant<\/li>\n<li>Piano accompanist<\/li>\n<li>Music Office assistant<\/li>\n<li>Music Theory tutor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students not assigned to the Federal Work Study program can obtain Music Department employment at an hourly rate.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a current student, please contact Music Office (<a href=\"mailto:music@keene.edu\">music@keene.edu<\/a>, 358-2177) to inquire about student worker opportunities.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Additional Financial Awards<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Every spring, Music Department faculty nominate current music major students for additional awards, which serve as a one-time supplement to the student\u2019s over all financial package.
