Brass Ensemble<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Music Department welcomes all members of the Keene State community – faculty, staff, and students – to participate in its ensembles. Music majors and minors are required to perform in large and small ensembles.\u00a0\u00a0All KSC students<\/strong>, regardless of academic major, are eligible to participate in any performing ensemble.\u00a0An audition is required for some ensembles.<\/p>\n

Orchestra<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Registration note:<\/em>\u00a0Students may register for ensembles for either 0 or 1 credits. With online registration, you must indicate whether you\u2019re taking an ensemble for credit by marking a \u20181\u2019 in the \u2018credits\u2019 box. Otherwise, the system defaults to zero credits.<\/p>\n

Performance attire:<\/em>\u00a0All members of department ensembles are required to wear appropriate performance attire. Typical attire is ‘concert black,’ but students should connect with their ensemble director early in the semester for specific instructions on what is appropriate for the ensemble.<\/p>\n
