That’s a Wrap!
KSC Low Brass Day 2023 is officially over and in the books! Thank you to all the people who participated in this year’s event — it was an amazing experience for everyone! Now that we’re a few days removed from the event, permit us a moment to take a breath (like David Earll showed us), step back, and share our gratitude for what made the day great.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in KSC Low Brass Day 2023! It was a long day full of fun, education, music making, and camaraderie. We were thrilled to see so many people learning new things, playing their instruments, sharing stories, eating together, and rocking out to some Neil Diamond, all on the best instruments humans have ever created! We sincerely hope you had an excellent experience, and we look forward to seeing many of you again and again!
Thank you to all the student volunteers who helped run the event—we couldn’t have done it without you.
And thank you, especially to our clinicians, Bente Illevold, David Earll, and Haim Avitsur for sharing their expertise, their inspiration, and their intense love of low brass. They were absolute rock stars, and we hope everyone who attended will keep sharing what they learned at KSC Low Brass Day.
Speaking of… our clinicians have generously offered to share the materials they used in their presentations in the morning session. All participants, please check your emails for free downloads of the materials used at KSC Low Brass Day 2023.
Masterclass participants, please keep your eyes peeled for an email linking you to your own masterclass video.
Lastly, we invite you to take a look at this photo gallery of the day’s events – and please, if you have photos of the day that you’d like to share, please email them to John.Hart@keene.edu for inclusion in the gallery!
Thank you, again, for making this first ever KSC Low Brass Day a success – we couldn’t do it without you! See you in two years!
